The Kottayam Bar Association is one of the Oldest Association across Kerala. The District Court at Kottayam was established in 1087 M.E. The Kottayam Bar Association, the predecessor of the present Bar Association, Kottayam was formed at about this period.

Our Founder

The Kottayam Bar Association is presently having its premises at the Kottayam Collectorate which was allotted to the Association by His Highness Maharaja of Travancore in the year 1087 in recognition of the high caliber of its members.
