The District Court at Kottayam was established in 1087 M.E. The Kottayam Bar Association,

the predecessor of the present Bar Association, Kottayam was formed at about this period. in matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same.
